37 WEEKS

This week....my belly is starting to drop a little bit which is a good sign right!? Well being home has been strange but fun. I have been able to get some of my Christmas shopping done in the first week. Some cleaning in the house and some more nesting in the baby's room. I have also added the bassinet into our bedroom so that the dogs get comfortable with the sight of the bassinet and they get their sniffing of it under control...well hopefully cause they are going to want to sniff inside when the little babes is in there. No change in dilating for me this week which is kind of a bummer I was hoping for a little change but that's ok....this baby has a timer and hopefully he will let himself out soon....sooooon. It has been nice to get some extra relaxation and naps done this past week. Excited for our weeks ahead we have a lot going on with Christmas coming around. My guess as well as a few others for due date is December 12th (this was my original due date prior to the first ultrasound). My mom says December 15th....I will take either date.

36 WEEKS

This week brought the fun times of seeing my little one...which is really difficult to see this week seeing as the baby is so big in there that is it hard to see anything. Also....little babykins was being stubborn and had his arm over his face and wouldn't let us see his face what a little booger. We found out that the baby is roughly 7lbs already.....yikes!!! I am also dilated to 1cm and 30% effaced which is all signs of good things to come in the future. The appointment went well the baby is still growing good and so is my belly. Heartbeat is good as well. This week I finish school early with getting my finals done in advance which that makes me a college graduate which is soooo super amazing. I will have my baechlor's degree prior to having our baby just like we wanted and planned. I am ready to relax, enjoy Thanksgiving, and best of all become a stay at home wife/mom. This week marks the last week of work as well. A lot of new things happening this week as well as in the future with me popping this baby out one day.

35 WEEKS

I swear my hair doesn't always look this crazy.....ok it probably does and I just don't notice it since I don't take pictures all the time....YIKES. Well with 35 weeks...nothing really major happened this week. Dinner at Village for Curtis' Birthday was one of the highlights and starts to the week....mmmmm so delicous. As you can tell the shirt that I wear for my weekly pictures is getting a little tight these days and doesn't exactly cover this ginormous belly either....woops. Next week I will be getting an ultrasound to see how big the baby is and will then start my weekly appointments...which means that the pregnancy is about to start slowing down instead of going by quickly like it has. Until next week.....

34 WEEKS

This week I was able to take some pregnancy pictures which was awesome especially cause it was one of my best friends Tiffany. They turned out great and I am so happy to have them done. Can't wait to take some super cute ones of the little babykins in a few weeks!!! This baby is getting big and at this weeks appointment they let me know that they will be doing an ultrasound to see how big the baby is seeing as though Michael was almost 10lbs and there is a history of big babies on my side of the family and my mom would have had big babies if she went to full term. Soo...I get my strep test done and an ultrasound and then they start checking me for dilating and such. I'm so excited for the future weeks to come.

33 WEEKS

School is starting to wind down I have gotten a few exams out of the way...my presentations complete and now I just have 2 exams left and am basically home free. My project at work is well on its way so my stress levels are way down which is a plus cause now I can focus on getting the house prepped for babykins... Which I am so excited to do. I am getting use to a new routine since Mike is on crutches but for the most part it has been pretty good and an easy transition. My dad, Creeper and Mikr worked on the basement which was awesome to see as we would like to get the rooms done before baby arrives. The baby is very active these days and tends to fully roll which sometimes hurts. The baby also is getting cramped....when I have even just a little water in my bladder he puts his head right on it and I feel like I am going to pee my pants which is extremely funny to Mike. My belly looks crazy when the baby is moving in there as it rumples all the way across and just looks like and alien trying to push out. I'm excited to see what the future holds and what sex the baby is in there...we have started getting our mind set over to possibly having a girl since we have been so set on a boy but need to mentally prepare for a girl as well...oh but I hope it's a baby boy in there :) time will tell.

32 WEEKS

8 months....OMG! I can not believe I have 8 weeks left. Halloween was this week. I was so excited for this week I made a special shirt and all for my little pumpkin....well it isn't that little. Best comment that day was from Mike's brother Brian...he said that isn't a small pumpkin I don't even have any pumpkins at home that big...it was all because at about 40 weeks they say the baby is the size if a small pumpkin but I kept saying yea right I got a medium-large one already. All was well with my weekly appointment i didn't gain any extra weight this 2 week span which is awesome total gain so far is 19lbs. I'm measuring basically right on with my weeks and tons to come in the future of what we will be finding out.

31 WEEKS

Pictures to come soon....just need to upload on Monday!

31 weeks brought the unexpected....Mike got knee surgery! It all happened within about two weeks and I can't believe it really did happen. It was an emotional pregnant experience for me.. It was hard to say goodbye to him for an hour and a half while he went under. The baby started kicking to comfort me but the surgery went well and everything went to the best case scenario which was awesome. Mike will be on crutches for about six weeks so that is a but more work for me but I'm glad he finally got the surgery done so that in the future he can do all that he wants to with our baby and not have the constant knee pain. Overall a pretty great week. I'm getting big and still sleeping pretty well minus waking up to go to the bathroom...like 3-5 times a night. This week also brought the Pollack baby shower which was amazing Liz did an amazing job hosting the event and it was a ton of fun. We are basically set for our little one just a few more things to get but we are basically ready for our little one!

30 WEEKS

This week brought some strange days....I'm use to hearing that I am going to be having a boy but for whatever reason recent strangers have been telling me they think that I am having a girl....so I have to get my mind ok with the idea of a girl since I somewhat was set it was a boy....Megan's shower is this week and next week is my shower with Mike's side of the family.. I am feeling amazing...some stretch marks are becoming noticeable on the sides of my hips and for some reason some down my legs...not liking that but none actually on my belly. I was able to have Lauren see the baby moving like crazy in my belly and for her to feel the baby...some part of the baby. When the baby starts moving you can see the rumble of my belly which is quite interesting and amazing. We are getting some major movements these days. I love this little baby and am going to miss these movements soon enough. Growing..... I AM! Let's just say that if I even try to wear something not maternity it is too shorty....bring on the fall so I can wear my sweaters. Some of my maternity pants are now to tight so I can no longer wear them because they put to much pressure on my belly. The maternity pants with the full panel just roll down because I'm at that point where I am a little to big. Sooo...leggings and sweatpants are my best friends.

29 WEEKS

Well I spent this week trying to clean the baby's room....yea it took all week. With that came the process of un-packaging everything putting the baby's items in his bathroom that were for the bathroom. Washing the kitchen stuff and making room in our cabinets. Washing the babies clothes and putting them away in the drawers. Stacking the cases of diapers and then putting together and opening the gifts and many other things for the baby. The room looks awesome and we really are getting so ready for a baby. It is so crazy to think. This coming week is Megan's shower at my house so I needed to make sure that I got everything cleaned up and put away from my shower so I could show some close family the baby's room and it wasn't super messy. It's all too cute....can't wait to see babykins in these little outfits.

I took pictures for this week....just not exactly sure what happened to them as the moment.

28 WEEKS

28 WEEKS....7 Months...3 to go...I can not even believe it. This week brought my first baby shower!!! Which was amazing and so exciting. It makes things so much more real when you start to actually bring home baby stuff. To have to wash the baby's clothes and start setting up the baby's room. We had an amazing shower. Got tons of diapers, clothes, and a whole bunch of things off of our registry. Now to put it all away....I have amazing family and friends who really spoiled our little babykins. Baby is moving like crazy these days. I have started to feel him turning or rolling around in there and can actually at times feel parts of the baby's body when the baby pushes outward...it is amazing and kinda creepy all at the same time.

27 WEEKS

I call this week prep week...first baby shower is next week and I have A list of to dos...this week I accomplished a lot we went and watched some of the nieces and nephews play soccer at Lippold Park, I canned 45+ jars of apple pie filling with Liz for a little thank you for baby shower gifts to come, and we prepped the baby's room for the gifts to come...by that I mean put up the bed so that there was room previously and the expected rush of baby stuff to fill the room and for me to have to put it all away. My back has started to ache when I sit in the same position for an extended period of time so I have to keep moving or stretching throughout the day to alleviate the back aches. Otherwise all is well with the babykins constantly moving!!!!

26 WEEKS

Another week down....school is getting busy along with work. Time is really passing quickly as I work and go to school and prep for the baby. I have started decorating for fall and started my canning weeks and weekends. I'm far more clumsy and slow these days but it's still fun and I'm making some food already for the baby and canning it. I'm definitely looking very pregnant these days but wouldn't ask for anything different. Babykins is turning or rolling inside which feels strange and sudden at times but the baby is a moving and that's an amazing feeling.

25 WEEKS

25 weeks...wow 15 to technically go! Time is flying. Not much happening this week. Feeling amazing still and I am still sleeping pretty well. Finally able to go to Popeyes for dinner in lake geneva for my favorite broccoli and cheddar soup. The waitress was nice but as soon as she noticed I was pregnant she was constantly asking how everything was and then would single me out and be like and you how is everything it was sweet.

24 WEEKS

24 weeks brought my monthly appointment which everything went well I was tested for prelabor due to the contractions I was experiencing this weekend for 12 hour increments. I had my first awkward person talk to me at the store...she asked if it was my first kid and i said yes she proceeded to say that ooo I must be due soon then which no I have 4 more months she quickly reverted to saying I look really good and it's good to show. No offense taken i love this belly and will show it off with pride! We had  Mikes cousin Johnny's wedding which was a blast. Labor Day which an extra day off work and school I'll take it! A little chilly but it was a great time to show off this belly of mine.

23 WEEKS

With 23 weeks....it has brought some tougher days for me. I believe I have started to feel some Braxton Hicks...which if you have never heard of them they are like contractions but aren't actually called contractions since I'm not quite in labor mode yet but it is my body and muscles prepping for future use. We had a boat cruise for work up in Lake Geneva which was fun and relaxing. The baby is kicking me like crazy basically alway lower kicks so I haven't been able to really see the baby moving from the outside. Mike has felt the baby move with the help of me forcing him to do so. He could have felt the baby about 3 weeks ago but his patience isn't always there but I figured out that the baby doesn't like when I lay directly on my back flat and starts kicking up a storm so all I had to do was that at bedtime and the baby started kicking. My mom was also able to feel the baby 4 times that day prior to Mike feeling the baby. I love this little baby.

22 WEEKS

This week started with the Taylor Swoft concert which was amazing! I saw Taylor when she opened for Rascal Flatts a while back and man o man this show was amazing and sooo worth it. It was at  Soldier Field and we couldn't have asked for a better night. Then my parents had a prebirthday celebration with gifts and everything! Unfortunately I got a touch of the stomach flu Tuesday to Wednesday. That was not fun my poor baby. The week ended with my 24th birthday man am I getting old and my BFF Lauren's rehearsal dinner. An amazing week minus the flu!

19 WEEKS

Exciting week for me this week! Baby is moving a bit more and I can feel the movements a little more prominently now. I love my husband soooo much he is the best. We bought a new (new to us) car this week for me and babykins and future other babykins. I love it and its nice to have a reliable car. Excited to see what the baby has grown to next week. Can't wait to see the little booger in there. Surprise dinner for mikes dad atmaggiano's  was a fun night with the family. Busy weeks ahead of us but tons of fun in store! P.s. the dogs follow us everywhere and that is why it is so easy to get a picture every week with them. It's almost like they purposely try to sabotage my pictures...and sorry for the crazy hair!

18 WEEKS

This week, I went with my mom, Beth, Caleb, Creeper, and Megan to visit Bradley downtown since he wasn't home for his birthday since he started the blind school in Chicago. The weather is beautiful....less stress in my life since we found someone to begin covering my position at work and I am now focusing on something a little less stressful at the moment. All is well with babykins and I.
