9 WEEKS

Some Puppy Love....
Well as I read my daily and weekly updates, I have learned that now I am bloating which is just lovely. So yes I may look super pregnant to me...a normal person will think I'm just a fatty. Haha. Anyways my digestive system is starting to slow down so that is can pull all of the nutrients and vitamins for babykins which means I'm going to look extra fat :). This week the puppies have started to show me a little bit more love. In the first picture Daphne is kissing my face as I get down to try and get the dog pictures for the week. Taylor was snuggling me one morning and laid her head on my tummy ever so slightly and just snuggled for a little bit it was sooo sweet. Not much new happening. Feeling a little better these days less nausea. Decided to change what I wear each week to this tighter gray shirt and a new location spot as well. Went to my monthly check up and all is well. Nothing really happened went over blood work and genetic testing options. Can't wait for the next appointment. We get to hear the babies heartbeat :)

8 WEEKS

Graduation...Mother's Day
Well this week....Mike graduated from NIU which was definitely exciting. This is what we were waiting for to start the process of trying to have a baby. We wanted to wait till his last semester so that we could both be working full time for 1/2 year to a full year before we had a baby. It was a fun time and definitely exciting to see him graduate and be so happy. We also knew that we were going to tell our parents the next day that we were pregnant. I got so worked up to tell both sets of parents and got extremely nervous which to me is kind of funny since I knew both would be very happy for us. Either way we told both sets of parents and both were very happy for us. I can't believe we are really pregnant still....No new major cravings a few days of extreme nausea but that's really all.

7 WEEKS

Take 2....We are Back on Track
Well with another week behind me it's a relief. The hardest thing is not telling my mom....Michael and I decided we wanted to wait till about 8 weeks to tell our parents and 10 weeks to tell everyone else. I have had to come up with everything and anything to satisfy the millions of questions my mom was asking me....but I'm surviving...I want to just tell her sooo bad. I am craving spaghetti like nobodies business. Mike basically keeps saying can we have something else....this is like the fourth day in a row.... Kind of funny but as of right now that is all that really sound appetizing. My sense of smell is becoming more prominent and I am just getting nauseous most days but something I can handle as it is just nausea and no vomiting which I am so far no signs of that.  I have to bait the dogs to come over when we are trying to snap the dog picture of the week so it is either a bone to entice them or we try to run over by them and get a quick picture...

6 WEEKS - 6.5 WEEKS

6 weeks....at the White Sox Game

Who wouldn't want to spend the day at a Chicago White Sox game on their first weeks pregnant...ok I know there are some people out there but I more mean the idea of all the food!!! So this week I figured out that my most favorite food item...Chicago Style Hot Dogs...I can't eat anymore. My tastes have changed and I'm quite sad about it. I use to constantly complain and beg Mike to take me to Portillo's but we rarely would for goo reason. We got scout seats so we had the opportunity to have a buffet lunch with tons of food and drinks and sweets...I was also still able to get my favorite thing of all BLUE COTTON CANDY! I just live for cotton candy when I go to a baseball game. It was a great time and a great game with an amazing time spent bonding with Mike's sisters Liz and Becky and Becky's son Matthew.

ULTRASOUND!!!
What an exciting time to see our little nugget....or as my mom calls the baby a little crabnut. This was sooo amazing even though the baby is so small and you can't tell anything it was great to see the flickering heart beat and to know that there really was something in there and I wasn't crazy anymore. :) I can't wait for the next one!!!!!

5 WEEKS

The sign is deceiving......
With the calculated date that we had we thought I was six weeks here but at 7.5 weeks with our first ultrasound we found out that we were only 6.5 weeks pregnant so we were a week off. So basically my signs are off for week 6 and 7 and there will be a picture that says week 7 take two...When I first went in for blood work during this week my due date was December 12th. Here are my "Week 5" pictures; Mike decided that he wanted to try to get a dog picture with each week that passed as well for whatever reason.

Another Pollack baby is on the way!!

Say it ain't so......We couldn't be more excited!
I have been waiting for what seems like forever.....but luckily it happened quickly for us especially since I was so patient.
The first test I took the second lighter pink line was very faint so I didn't really know what to think...I told Mike I was but that I was a little scared. The next day I took my second test and the line was so much more defined and I knew it was right this time around. I decided to take a different third test to really confirm my intuitions. So with three Yes' we are on to Pregnancy Hollywood! (haha my lame attempt to be American Idol funny). I wanted to start a special blog just for babykins so that I could document weekly the progress like babes and I are making in this ever changing body of mine. I figure what better way to track my weekly symptoms, cravings, and what our baby's size is and what HE(Mike prefers I say he rather than it or she)is doing each week.
